Application Developer

Salary : Max 130k 

Level : Middle

Work location : Hybrid (on-site 2-3 days per week) @Tipco Tower 

Employment Type : 12 months (extendable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support legacy applications developed in VB6 and modern applications developed in C#.NET.

• Perform code analysis, bug fixing, performance tuning, and enhancements based on client or business requirements.

• Collaborate with QA, business analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.

• Assist in the migration of VB6 applications to .NET or other modern platforms.

• Participate in regular AMS operations including incident handling, service requests, and change management.

• Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.

• Track, manage, and report on development and support tasks using issue tracking tools

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and support procedures.

• Follow ITIL best practices and adhere to SLAs for issue resolution and change implementation.

• Provide on-call/off-hours support for critical issues when required.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Strong development skill using VB6 and C#.NET

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in VB6 application development and support.

• 3+ years of experience with C#.NET and .NET Framework/.NET Core.

• Strong understanding of SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and data modeling.

• Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting legacy code.

• Familiarity with application lifecycle management, especially in an AMS or support-focused environment.
