Oracle DBA Team Lead

Salary : Depending on experience

Level : Senior - Asst. Manager

Work location : ฺHybrid (Silom)

Main Objectives and Activities

  • Lead Oracle DBA team (3 members) with hands-on approach

  • Manage workload and planning, reporting to Head of Middleware & Data

  • Develop team members skills for high technical expertise

  • Coordinate and Communicate operations with stakeholders

  • Troubleshoot issues and prevent incidents

  • Identify repetitive manual tasks and request their automation from Devops team

  • On-call Standby rotation required

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Language skills

  • Fluent in English

Experience and Skills

    • At least 10 years' experience in Oracle database administration

    • Strong technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills

    • Good team player, Service oriented and Ability to work in fast paced environment

    • Strong communication skills

    • Continuous improvement mindset

    • Problem-solving attitude

Technical Skills Required

    • Oracle 19c: RMAN, Dataguard, Multi-tenant, Editions, …

    • SQL Performance Analysis & Tuning with developers

    • Familiar with Linux & bash scripting
