Solution Architect 

Salary : Max 110k, Depending on experience

Level : Junior - Senior

Work location : Onsite 100% (Rama 3)

Employment Type : 6 months (extendable)

 

Job description 
- Junior level:
CL11-CL10 - Expect to be able to work per guidance of supervisors and grow ownership over assigned areas

- Senior level: CL9 - Expected to work independently with minimal supervision from the Manager; expected to lead and coach at least 1 team member or more (depending on capability and given responsibility).
 

Job Responsibilities
- Drive client workshop to assess impact readiness across client applications; This includes launching a survey, driving a workshop or managing follow-up communications with multiple application owners.
- Analyze and derive insights from the bank’s interface inventory and architecture design to answer basic integration questions.
- Co-ordinate with cross-functional tracks that have dependency with core bank modernization.
- Track issues, follow up with application teams, and report status to Manager.


Soft skills:
- Clear communication: Able to work well with a wide range of audience e.g. having to run a session with over 40 people. Must be able to manage questions and follow-up to ensure activities and timeline can be met.
- Strong logical thinking and Listening Skills: Able to understand client applications behavior and scenarios, to cater them appropriately to our survey / impact assessment framework. If there's any case where the client provide inconsistent data, expect the member to spot and clarify on those points.
- Strong Excel Foundation: Proficient in basic Excel functions such as pivots, basic formulas etc. If lacking, the candidate must demonstrate a high degree of self-learning ability to quickly catch up.
- Fluent in Thai & English in both speaking and writing
- Ability to summarize key points (if senior, expect to do synthesize) and escalate issues where appropriate. Good abilities in managing and prioritizing many tasks on a daily basis (without requiring micro-management)


Hard skills:
- For Junior: Preferred for the candidate to have basic understanding of SDLC. However, this is not mandate, if the candidate shows strong willingness to learn - the team is willing to coach.
- For Senior: Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in system design, integration, or solution architecture. Deep understanding of SDLC and enterprise application landscapes.
- If the candidate has knowledge in banking, especially relating to Deposit core or Lending core - This is considered a plus
- If the candidate has knowledge in integration basics (API, SFTP etc.) - This is considered a plus
